Constipation in children

A Guide to Understanding Constipation in Your Child

Constipation is not a disease but may be a symptom of another medical problem. In most cases, constipation in children is temporary and harmless. However, if it persists over time, it may become chronic and lead to more serious health issues.1

How to Tell If Your Child Is Constipated?

You can tell that your kid is constipated if you notice any of the following symptoms:2

Component 27 – 1

He/she has done less than 3 poos in the last week.

Component 28 – 17

His/her poo is large and hard.

Component 29 – 1

He/she is straining or in pain when pooing.

Component 30 – 1

Having soiled pants even if over 1 years old.

To give your child a cheerful and playful life, raise a flag if you notice any of the previous symptoms!
